Where do I look?

You can collect items from all over your house!  Start with the kids’ rooms & go through everything! Check the toy area, book shelves, attic and/or basement for stored clothing, baby equipment, and don’t forget the garage for bikes, ride on toys, sports equipment, outside play items!

What you can sell
  • All things children and maternity!! If your kid wore it, if your kid used it, if you bought it in the kids department, you can probably sell it!
  • At the fall sale, you can sell what your kids wear from Sept – April and at the spring sale, you can sell what your kids wear from April – Sept!
  • There are some exceptions, so check the link below for more details!

Still not sure!? Email us!

Car Seats

We are now accepting car seats!  All of these procedures are in place after conducting research on the law and from other sales. They will sell if you price them reasonably!

Here’s the rules:  No EXCEPTIONS!

  • You CANNOT choose to donate an unsold car seat. We can not donate used car seats. Car seats that remain unsold at the end of the sale, must be picked up from the sale location.
  • Car seats must be 4 years of age or younger.  Check the date on the manufacturers tag. This ensures a buyer will get two years of use out of it.  (Car seats are only legally allowed to be used for 6 years.)
  • No expired car seats or car seats that have been in an accident If you try to sell a car seat that has expired, we will charge you a $100 fee to dispose of it. This will be deducted from your consignor check. You will sign a release for each car seat declaring that the seat is not recalled and has never been in an accident. This will remain with us for our records.  You will sign these forms at drop off.
Squishmallows/TY Beanie Babies

We now accept these to sell. They must be like new and have their fabric brand tags attached.

Book Sale (NEW Spring 2024)

NO BUNDLES!
MUST DONATE!

We are expanding our book department! The new category is for “Moms Only” and will be located in between the two smaller arenas. What are “Mom Books”? Think Beach Reads! All books in this category must be marked to donate. See Website for additional ideas and content on this section. ALL BOOKS MUST BE TAGGED “TO DONATE”!!! We will not be sorting unsold books!!!!!!!

How should I sort my stuff?

Let’s sort out what can be sold, and what can’t.  Take an initial look through the clothing.  Pull anything with a stain, or rip, or missing buttons.  Check your games and puzzles – are there missing pieces?  Remove them from the pile if so.  Check out the toys – Do they work and have batteries in them? Are all the pieces there as well?  Now you’ve got your “Good To Sell Pile”!

Next, you are going to sort this pile by Season, Gender  and Size.

Is my item recalled?

Check this website: CPSC

Check the Consumer Product Safety Commission website for recalls. These are most often in the baby equipment category, toys category, and the bicycles/ride on toy category. You can search by recent recalls or type in the brand and model of your stroller as an example. We have found that strollers and baby equipment are the most recalled items. Please be diligent.

Item Limits

These limits are based on what sells, and how fast it sells. You are allowed to have 350 active tags for the event. Within that number, you are allowed 30 pairs of shoes (15 per gender), 50 book tags – you can do bundles of books (must be the same reading level, we prefer string/ribbon over resealable bag), 15 items in our bedding category, & 10 items in our décor category.

New Grab N Go section

We have a new section we are calling Grab ‘N Go.  Everything in this section is in a sealed zip top bag.  Nothing is priced over $5.  This is bundling of like items at its finest.  This helps us keep our toy tables clear of small $2 items.

Examples:  Bag of McDonald’s toys for $2, Gallon bag of bouncy balls, bag of bath toys (no mold!), Bag of little farm animals, Bag of army men, Bag of small finger puppets.  The goal of this section is an EASY way for parents who bring their kids to the sale to grab a small toy for being a great shopper!  It’s an easy yes, because it’s small, priced right, and doesn’t matter if it gets lost under minivan seats on the way home.
